Exel Group consists of the parent company Exel Oyj, which operates in Finland and ten operating subsidiaries: Exel Sports Oy in Finland, Exel GmbH in Germany, Exel Composites N.V. in Belgium, Exel Composites GmbH in Austria, International Gateway AB in Sweden, Exel USA, Inc in the US, Exel Composite Materials (Shenzhen) Ltd and Nordic Sports Products (Beijing) Ltd in China, as well as Exel Composites in Australia and Exel Composites UK


Subsidiaries


Exel Sports Oy handles the sales, marketing, logistics and product development operations for Exel's Sport division's consumer products (Nordic Fitness Sports, floorball and winter sports).

Exel acquired the then Solte GmbH's ski and snowboard coating operations in 1997. Exel GmbH operates in Voerde near the Dutch border, producing composite profiles such as antenna profiles for GSM and UMTS networks.

Exel Composites N.V. was established in 2004 when Exel acquired the business operations of Bekaert's pultrusion operations. Exel Composites manufactures profiles mainly for Transportation and Building, Construction & Infrastructure industries in Oudenaarde, Belgium.

Exel Composites GmbH was established in 2005 when Exel acquired the pultrusion business operations of Faserprofil GmbH. It manufactures special profiles for example for the electrical and mechanical industries as well as for railway and paper machine industries in Kapfenberg, Austria.

International Gateway AB's capital stock was acquired in 1998. International Gateway operates in Piteå in Sweden. It focuses on the development and marketing of floorball products.

Exel USA, Inc. handles the deliveries of the Nordic Fitness Sports concept in Canada and the United States.

Nordic Sports Products (Beijing) Ltd acts as an importer, marketing company and distributor of poles and floorball products in China.

Exel acquired 100% of the shares of the Australia-based Pacific Composites Pty. Ltd. in February 2006. The company manufactures profiles in Brisbane and Melbourne in Australia. Exel Composites (Nanjing) Co. Ltd manufactures profiles in Nanjing, China and Exel Composites UK in UK. Exel Composites (Nanjing) Co. Ltd and Exel Composites UK are subsidiaries of Exel Composites in Australia.
